Join New England natives, Joan and Dave Szkutak, owners of SAMsARA Winery at Browne Trading for a free wine tasting of five beautiful wines. Joan and Dave will guide you through a not-to-be-missed tasting. They bring a diverse set of skills to their ownership of a boutique winery that produces limited-release wines from carefully selected micro-sites within Sta. Rita Hill’s and Santa Barbara County’s most distinctive vineyards. The resulting wines are built on balance, harmony with nature, and listening to and responding to the needs of both our vineyards and wines in the cellar; a commitment to making ‘vineyard driven wines’. Joan grew up in Maine and they have maintained a second home on Mount Desert Island since 2001. We’re so excited to have Joan and Dave here for Portland Wine Week!
